Louis Lipsky

 

Louis I. Lipsky serves as the managing partner of both the firm’s Pennsylvania and New Jersey offices.  He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated from The Wharton School of Business with a BS Economics in 1983.  Mr. Lipsky is also a  1986 cum laude graduate of The Temple University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and District of New Jersey Federal Courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Lipsky concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, corporate law and litigation representing individuals, businesses, private and public lenders, developers and condominium associations.  His real estate practice includes representing and advising clients in such areas as purchases and sales of real estate, residential, commercial and industrial leasing transactions, condominium creation and conversion, land use and zoning, loan and financing transactions, syndications, and the creation of easements and licenses.  His litigation practice encompasses representing individuals and businesses as plaintiffs and defendants in such matters as collections, construction, bankruptcy litigation, estate litigation, mechanics’ liens, foreclosures, condemnation, partition, title issues, ejectment, land and boundary disputes, property redemptions, landlord tenant, personal injury, injunctions, and RICO claims, successfully trying both jury and non-jury cases in Pennsylvania and New Jersey State and Federal Courts for over twenty years.  His corporate practice encompasses representing and counseling small, medium and large businesses in their day to day affairs beginning with the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, and extending to shareholder, partner, and member disputes, employer/employee issues, reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts, the sale and purchase of businesses, and general corporate matters. 

In his spare time, Mr. Lipsky enjoys spending time with his wife, Tammi, and children Ari and Lindsay, and is an avid golfer, skier, and fantasy football fanatic.
