Justin Krik

 

Justin Krik is an associate of the firm since 2007 practicing in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He is a 2002 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.  Mr. Krik graduated from the Widener University School of Law in 2006, and is admitted to practice before the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey.

Mr. Krik represents individuals and businesses in a variety of real estate and business transactions and litigation.  His litigation practice includes contractual disputes, commercial litigation, possessory issues including commercial and residential ejectment and landlord-tenant matters, commercial and residential foreclosure, confession of judgment, creditors’ rights, title disputes, real estate tax appeals and zoning matters.  His transactional practice includes business entity formation and management, drafting and negotiating contracts, purchases and sales of real estate, commercial leasing transactions, loan and financing transactions, creating and documenting condominiums and planned communities, and secured transactions.  In addition, Mr. Krik represents clients facing regulatory and compliance matters with the City of Philadelphia Department of Licenses and Inspections.

Mr. Krik has developed a niche practice representing purchasers and investors of properties through Sheriff’s Sales, both mortgage foreclosure and tax lien/delinquency sales, assisting them with understanding the Sheriff’s Sale process and defending the purchaser’s rights. 

Mr. Krik works with attorneys in the firm assisting in the following practice areas: collections, estate planning, equipment lease enforcement, execution practice, mechanics’ liens and plaintiffs’ personal injury. 

Mr. Krik’s clients include real estate investors, landlords, creditors, small businesses, institutional and private lenders, and home buyers and sellers. 

Mr. Krik is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and is also a licensed Pennsylvania Real Estate Salesperson. 

In his spare time, Mr. Krik enjoys spending time with his wife, Julia, and children Sophia and Rebecca, and enjoys all things technology and drumming.
