Judith Drasin
Judith Drasin is associate counsel of the firm practicing in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she graduated from the College for Women with Bachelor of Arts in American Civilization in 1962. Ms. Drasin is a 1982 graduate of the Rutgers University School of Law, Camden and is admitted to practice in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Ms. Drasin concentrates her practice in the area of Family Law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is the immediate past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. In connection with her services to the Family Law Section for the year 2008, she serves on the Philadelphia Bar Association Board of Governors. Her Family Law practice includes representing individuals in divorce, support, both child and spousal, child custody matters, adoption, grandparents’ rights, Protection Against Abuse matters, prenuptial agreements and marital settlement agreements that include real estate, securities, small business matters as part of a divorce settlement. Ms. Drasin has been active in the custody and divorce mediation field and, until her tenure as Family Law Section Chair, served as the co-Chair and Chair of the Family Law Section, Custody Mediation Committee. She also conducts private divorce and custody mediations as part of her practice. Ms. Drasin’s clients are individuals, both male and female, and she has represented both parents and grandparents in custody matters. Ms. Drasin is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association. Ms. Drasin is mother of three married adult sons and eight wonderful grandchildren. She is married to Robert M. Washburn, who is Professor of Law at Rutgers University, Camden, and of counsel to FlasterGreenberg in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. When not working, Ms Drasin and her husband travel for pleasure and to visit family.
